Since 2004, the Silver Surfer Vaporizer (SSV) has been assembled, crafted, and tested by ELEV8 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Each unit features distinctive glass components, including a handmade temperature-control knob produced by ELEV8’s glass team.
The SSV is also designed for personalization, with different housing and base colors available. Rainbow Zen has a glossy black finish that reveals a multicolor sparkle effect when light hits the surface.

HAND MADE VARIABLE KNOB
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer uses manual variable heat control instead of numbered temperature settings. Because draw speed can affect the results of a convection vaporizer, ELEV8 designed the SSV so you can adjust the heat gradually and find the setting that works best for your preferred draw rate.
The handmade glass knob is removable, allowing you to reposition the indicator after finding your preferred setting so it serves as an easy visual reference for future sessions.

CERAMIC HEATER
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer uses ELEV8’s ceramic heating element, a design the company has used in the SSV platform since 2004. The heating element is fully encased in ceramic, helping protect it from direct air exposure during operation.
This construction is designed to protect the heating element while providing consistent convection heat through the SSV’s glass air path. For users planning to keep a desktop vaporizer long term, the ceramic heater is one of the core components behind the SSV’s durable, serviceable design.
PURE GLASS CONNECTION
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer uses ELEV8’s spherical glass-on-glass connection, pairing the glass wand with the spherical heater cover. This design supports the included hands-free attachment and avoids the fixed fit of a traditional ground-glass joint.
ELEV8 also states that the spherical wand provides a bowl area approximately 33% larger than its traditional ground-glass design. The removable glass components make routine cleaning, replacement, and customization straightforward.

HEMPSTER & VELOUR STORAGE BAG
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer includes a reusable padded storage bag designed to keep the unit and its accessories organized between uses. ELEV8 makes the bag from its durable Hempster hemp/polyester blend and includes eight accessory pockets for storing the SSV’s removable components.
A built-in carrying strap makes the bag easier to transport once the vaporizer has completely cooled, while the soft interior helps protect the unit and glass pieces during storage.

HANDS-FREE CONNECTION
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer’s angled design supports ELEV8’s spherical glass system and included hands-free attachment. This positioning helps reduce stress on the glass heater cover and wand while allowing the whip to rest in a more natural position during use.

AROMATHERAPY DISH
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer is compatible with ELEV8’s optional Aroma Top, which adds fragrance diffusion to the desktop setup. The glass dish can be used with compatible wax melts or fragrance oils to add scent to the surrounding space while the SSV is in use.
Because the Aroma Top mounts separately above the vaporizer, it adds another function without changing the standard whip setup.

DAB QUARTZ DISH
The Silver Surfer Vaporizer is compatible with ELEV8’s optional Essential Oil Kit (EOK), which uses a quartz dish that sits securely within the SSV setup. This integrated design keeps the heated component positioned inside the vaporizer rather than exposed on top of a separate glass piece.
The SSV can be switched between its standard spherical heater-cover setup and the optional EOK configuration, giving users another way to customize the desktop system without requiring a separate heating device.
