This Turret Mini Rig was smaller then I pictured, but honestly that ended up being the best part. The fab egg chamber bubbles really nicely and the airflow feels smooth without needing giant pulls. Very happy with my purchase, thank you 421Store

That can definitely happen sometimes with handcrafted wooden slide tops, especially when they’re brand new. The fit is intentionally made a little snug at first so it stays secure over time instead of becoming loose too quickly. Natural wood can also slightly expand or contract depending on humidity and temperature during shipping.
Usually, after a bit of regular use, the slider naturally smooths out and “breaks in” pretty nicely. A small amount of natural beeswax or food-safe mineral oil along the sliding track can also help loosen and smooth the motion if needed.

I got this because I wanted a small grinder that wasn’t huge in my pocket. The 2.2 inch size is pretty easy to carry. The aluminum feels sturdy enough and the magnetic lid is nice. It grinds pretty evenly for normal use.
This rig kit ended up being way more customizable then I expected. I switched between the different perc setups a few times already and both felt smooth in different ways. The silicone sleeve also makes it less stressful carrying around. I freaking love. I'm coming back for more, 421Store.
Love it, it worked out pretty well. The vapor tastes clean and the glass mouthpiece makes a noticeable difference. Takes a little practice with slower pulls at first though.5 stars all the way around.
