Step 1: Assembly
Take out the parts from the bag and start by assembling the atomizer on the electric body. Next, place the carb cap together with the belt for holding purposes. After that, connect the perc below the main body, fill the glass with some water (half-full should be the maximum), and then connect it to the body such that the perc goes inside.
Proceed to connect the mouthpiece and then use the loader to place some wax on the atomizer. Once you close the carb cap, the assembly and loading part is all done.
Step 2: Light up and Hit
There is some charge in the 3000mAh battery for testing, so the unit should power on during arrival. Otherwise, you may need 2-3 hours to charge the battery fully. Quickly press the power button five times to power it on, and you should see a green light as a result.
Since it starts cold, long-press the power button for about five seconds to warm it up before taking the first inhale. Shorter puffs will yield more smoke, and that should be the way to go.
You may want to change the heat settings as you progress. Press the power button three times quickly to get to the next heat level. When you see a green light, it means the unit is between 450 and 550F. The next one is blue, and the temperature is about 550-650F.
The last setting has a yellow light where you get 650-750F.
Step 3: Take Care While You Hit
There is nothing hazardous when using the Ares dab rig, but you should watch out for a few warning signs. As you dab, it should not take more than 10 seconds. Once the rig detects more than 10 seconds of use, it will auto cut off.
There are also overheating issues, and the dab rig is equipped to curb that. You will see a red light flashing before the unit turns off. It’s advisable to wait for it to cool before using it again. If the dab rig stays idle for five minutes, it will automatically turn off to save power.
Step 4: Check the Alarm Indications
When the battery is lower than 30%, you will see a steady red light on the indicator. If the battery goes below 15%, the red light will blink 15 times before the unit powers off. That tells you it’s time to charge. It will take 2-3 hours to load the battery fully. The indicator will go red while charging and green when fully charged.
The unfortunate may happen with electric devices, and this one is not exceptional. If the dab rig short circuits, you will see four red flashes before turning off. When that happens, re-assemble the unit to see if it will work again. If it doesn’t wake, then it’s time for a new one.
On the better side, if the battery fully charges, it will stop charging and indicate a green light.
Step 5: Cleaning Up
Once you are done with the dabbing, the electric dab rig will need some washing. You will, however, not be using water here. That’s where the cotton swabs and the brush become helpful. Use the swabs to clean the atomizer while the latter goes to the air channel after disconnecting the mouthpiece.
The only thing to clean using water is the silicone mouthpiece, carb cap, and belt. They are all dishwasher safe too.
The Ares dab rig will be the way forward as the 21st century progresses. You can be miles ahead by ordering it from the Waxmaid website and getting it within 2-3 business days.
As we conclude, we hope you have learned how the new dab rig in town works and what you should expect upon arrival. Once you get the hang of it, everything will be as easy as just grabbing the electric dab rig, loading some wax, and powering it on for the hits.
