Understanding the Gravity Slide Design

Unlike a conventional stationary water pipe, a gravity bong uses the movement of an inner chamber through water to create airflow. This changing pressure draws smoke into the chamber, while the percolating system provides additional water filtration.

The Altitude's moving glass core makes it a different experience from using a standard fixed water pipe. It's worth considering if you prefer a gravity-operated design with moving components and a removable glass slide.

Cleaning and Maintaining the Glass

Regular cleaning helps prevent residue buildup that can restrict airflow through a water pipe. MJ Arsenal recommends changing the water regularly and cleaning glass components with an appropriate glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol, followed by thorough rinsing.

The Altitude includes separate glass components, wood accents, and a silicone gasket. Handle these pieces carefully during cleaning, and avoid assuming that cleaning solutions intended for glass are also suitable for the wood or silicone components.
