How to Use the PAX Mini 2
Load prepared dry material into the oven and install either the standard oven lid or Half Pack Oven Lid depending on the amount being used. Press the control button to power on the device and allow approximately 22 seconds for it to reach operating temperature.
While the device is powered on, quickly press the control button to cycle through its four heat modes. After selecting a mode, wait a few seconds or shake the device to confirm the setting. Haptic feedback and the LED petals provide status information during operation.

Full Pack or Half Pack: Choosing the Right Oven Setup
One useful upgrade over the original PAX Mini is the Mini 2’s larger, full-size oven and included Half Pack Oven Lid. The standard lid allows use of the full oven, while the Half Pack lid reduces the available space when a smaller amount of dry material is preferred.
PAX specifically recommends the Half Pack Oven Lid when loading less material. Because the Mini 2 uses conduction heating, maintaining good contact between the contents and the heated oven is an important part of consistent operation.
PAX Mini 2 vs PAX Flow and PAX Four
The PAX Mini 2 is the simplest and most compact of these current PAX models. It uses conduction heating with four selectable heat modes and focuses on portability and straightforward operation. PAX Flow moves to hybrid heating, five heat modes, a widened airpath, and direct USB-C fast charging, making it the more feature-focused option for shoppers prioritizing airflow and additional heat control.
PAX Four also uses hybrid heating but is positioned by PAX around higher output and power, with four intelligent heat modes, a redesigned oven, direct USB-C charging, and up to about 50 minutes of runtime. Unlike older information that may still appear online, PAX states that the current PAX Four oven is not compatible with the PAX Concentrate Insert.
