Cleaning & Care
For the borosilicate glass bowl and stem, Softglass recommends a mixture of sea salt and at least 70% isopropyl alcohol.
For the silicone components, Softglass recommends at least 70% isopropyl alcohol followed by a thorough water rinse. Allow all components to dry completely before reassembly. Softglass notes that alcohol may temporarily cause the silicone to expand during cleaning.
Important Use Note
Softglass states that its products are not for use with torch-style lighters.
Replacement Parts and Compatibility
Softglass offers a Pier Bubbler Kit specifically for refreshing the removable components of the Pier. The replacement kit contains one borosilicate glass bowl and stem and one platinum-cured silicone bowl cover.
The Pier is also compatible with the Softglass Pier Cartridge Adapter according to the confirmed distributor information. The adapter is a separate accessory and is not included with the standard Pier package.
